With the inaccurate setting of an alarm clock and a dead car battery we find ourselves abrubtly thrown back into our everyday reality. Fitting that this also happens to be a Monday.
Now, Monday. If I may have a word. Are we still friends? Maybe you too are struggling with the return to the marking of days and your role in the neverending passage of time. Or, could it be that you organized the above-mentioned road blocks to grant us just one more day in the blissful holiday state of mind.
Regardless. Here we are. Back to Mondays - with a fresh year stretched out in front of us. With me trying to remember that perspective is everything and good things are everywhere.
Enjoy the day all.
I was glad to get back to it being a "Monday" yesterday as everything seems to have been so topsy turvey for ages, it was nice to just have a "normal" day. I am not totally back to a routine yet, but as I am trying to change things up from last year that is perhaps a good thing! Nice to get back to life though and be done with Christmas dare I say it! I hope that your remaining Mondays of the year are all great ones. xx

I am with you. Usually I love a return to "normal"...yesterday made me work for it though.
I had a happy holiday vibe that carried me through.
Wishing you a wonderful year of Monday also.

I had one of those Mondays too, so happy to be on to Tuesday this week. I hope the rest of your week is easy and that you had a wonderful holiday. May this be the worst Monday of the year!

Normally Monday and I have a very amicable relationship - but not yesterday. I am sorry to hear that it treated you the same way. And I have the very same wish for you - the worst Monday is a thing of the past.
