Some good things

As I sit here in the quiet of my home, after a week of busy, the weekend is calling.  My thoughts and fears of earlier this week have been put aside in the wake of getting things done.   And from where I sit good things abound.

 

I am into the home stretch in our bathroom agenda.  New paint, repaired drywall...and for the first time in ten years - new towels.  Brand new.  This fact makes me both happy and if I think about it too much, kind of yucked out.

And with this pretty pile staring at me, I am entering the weekend with my sewing machine ready.

I think time and money is very well spend, on things you can turn into other even more beautiful things. :)
Oh the bathroom is looking lovely. Guess what? I recently bought a mere two new towels, after about ten years too. Somehow they always end up at the bottom of the list. I should get quite a few more actually, but would so rather buy yarn and fabric!
