The days in between

First freezing rain.  Then snow.  Winter showed up and it appears as though it enjoys where it is.  Things are as they should be.  Well.  Except for the snow that got comfortable in our attic, atop the insulation.  That is not really as it should be.  Something to be dealt with in the early days of 2016.  I suppose I should be thankful.....the blank slate that was 2016 now has it's first task on the to-do list.

There have been walks in the woods, visits from friends and family, a bush pile burn, fort construction and knitting.  

And plans for a quiet celebration to usher out the year that was.
